FAA Releases Small UAS Notice of Proposed Rulemaking! - Check out the provisions being proposed in the FAA’s Small UAS NPRM.

FAA Grants UAV Permits for Agriculture & Real Estate Companies - The Associated Press reports that on Tuesday, the FAA issued exceptions to the commercial UAV ban, permitting the monitoring of crops and real estate use for aerial photographs of properties for sale. This is the first time permits have been granted to agriculture and real estate companies.

FAA Poised to Include Limitations on Hobbyist UAVs - The FAA is proposing to amend its regulations to adopt specific rules for the operation of small unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) in the National Airspace System (NAS). .

Judge Rules Against FAA in ‘Landmark’ UAV Challenge -  In a decision dated March 6, NTSB Judge Patrick Geraghty found that the FAA has no regulations that apply to model aircraft or that classify a model aircraft as an unmanned aircraft system.

At Your Location Demonstration Opportunities

Ready to see one of our industrial or military UAVs at your location? Our in-person demonstration opportunities make it easy to see our technology and avoid the stress and time of planning a trip for your team. We'll come to you!

Here are typical costs for requesting a demonstration at your location; all costs are in US Dollars.

Purchase the aircraft within 30 days and receive a 100% credit for the demonstration costs, up to $1000!

Rate: Your Location - U.S., Canada,  Mexico $250 / International $500 Per Day Plus Expenses

Travel: HSE books air and lodging and will provide an estimate and itinerary overview before for your approval. HSE does not add any margin or profit for expenses or lodging. All expenses will include a receipt.  Daily food rate is $40/USD.

Deposit: Considering the cost of airfare and that most are non-refundable, HSE collects a 50% non-refundable deposit for reserving of the demonstration dates. During the demonstration days, the pilot will be available throughout the day for demonstration and to answer technical or UAV program questions... we are there for you! The remaining balance is due at least 21 days prior to the departure.

Flight Safety:

  • Flight location should be outdoors and 5mi or 8km from the nearest airport
  • Flight location should be free of close-range overhead obstacles/lines/structures
  • Flight location should not be over crowds, or water when possible

Pilot Safety: Some international demo locations might require additional safety precautions, surety bonds or security escorts. If this is necessary, please understand that these costs will be included in the demonstration.

HSE is committed to the safety of our pilots, in certain cases, we might request your support for travel visa invitation letters, security or other location-specific guidance.
